It took over 2 years to build this stunning car and was actually built to be driven…not just looked at. She’s not only had a frame-off restoration, but has had every nut and bolt replaced with new OEM quality parts or better. We kept her completely stock looking on the exterior except for the continental kit we had custom built to increase trunk space and the wider Kelsey Hayes wire wheels we used to keep her on the road. She’s painted in the rare metallic Thunderbird Copper color, only used for part of the model year, with 5 coats of clear to give it that deep gloss and shine to match her nearly flawless chrome. Underneath, she has a brand new Art Morrison frame built for her with 4 wheel independent suspension and disc brakes, so she drives and handles like a new model car. In the cabin we tried to retain the style and feel of the original while upgrading the amenities to today’s standards. So, she’s outfitted with driver and passenger 6 way power seats, custom fitted Heat & A/C, tilt and telescopic wood steering wheel, custom console with shifter and armrest, Sony CD player with high performance speakers, amps and sub-woofer, plus a custom 2 tone hand stitched interior with contrasting carpet edging. Under the hood is the coup de grace…a brand new Sean Highland, Fuel Injected, 4.6 DOHC engine with a Kenny Bell Supercharger that puts out 550 Horsepower mated to a C-6 Automatic Transmission.
